These are the earliest versions that used the smaller wire 43. They were known to range from 6k to 11.5k because they did not use a TURN COUNTER on the early pickup winder in '50-'51.
So I am offering these in specs from 6k to 14k to help fully recapture these awesome early pickups.

These were also found on the early Lap Steels.
Bridge uses correct smaller vintage enamel wire 43 and AlNiCo 3
Neck uses correct vintage enamel wire 42 and AlNiCo 5
(as found on the original Broadcasters®!)

*EXPLANATION OF SPECS:
6k:
Very ear-pleasing. It's not super loud, but enough to balance with Neck Pickup.
7.5k:
Perhaps the most common spec found on Broadcaster®. Bright and Middy.
8.5k:
Louder and still bright but with balanced mids and bass.
10k:
"Keefer";
Loud with pushed mids. Still bright and cutting. Used for slightly
brighter "K. Richards-like" Rock and Roll tone. Very popular!
11.5 k:
"0038"; Standard. Perfect balance. Best EQ.
14k:
P-90®; Push and growl. Good highs. Loud.
